Day 31: Hopefully this makes up for yesterday...

I still can not believe myself!!! I got unbelievably close and then I missed it. One day!
Anyway, never mind, I'm doing a 31st entry to make up and do what I was going to do yesterday.
My mum found my blog, she asked my friend and she gave it to her.
courtesy: studentsoftheworld.info
Starting at day one, I never thought that I would see the end. Honestly, I thought that it was impossible and that I'd give up half way. After that I couldn't find anything at all to write about. I would take me longer to do that than most other things (except loading).
I decided to read over the blogs I wrote during this time. I don't know how, in those times where I had nothing to write about, I tended to write the most. Take Day 1 as an example. I was really exceited about doing something like this and had loads of ideas.
courtesy: blogspot.com/
But nothing wanted to present itself at the time.

Other times, there was something I really wanted to say, but it didn't seem to match as it should have. Day 3 I had just finished reading something that was so powerful. It had left me going wow. I was completely breathless and just had to say something about it.

I had some help during the middle, when I was on camp with some midgets. Thanks to my friend I pre-wrote some blogs and then got her to upload them.

So, thanks for reading,

I leave this blog with a final quote

Day 30: well kinda...

I got so close, I really did. Then I failed.
Last night I was meant to write my final blog, a conclusion to the fun I've had, but instead I forgot and went to bed. Sorry :(

Day 29:

Just so you know I found my glasses.
I can't figure out if my friends are avoiding me or if they are just really sick this year. I mean one of my friends has been at school for maybe four whole weeks this term and the rest she has been away then back then away (to see Harry Potter) then back at school then away. I honestly don't understand!
I pretty sure I wouldn't be able to stay home half as much. I keep expecting to find out that she's deadly ill, but no! Just really

Let's hope I can be lucky for a competition I'm entering...

Day 28:

I think I've lost my glasses, so staring at the computer screen doesn't make me feel to good.
I'm not really in the mood for writing anything. Sorry...

Day 27:

I went into the city yesterday and saw a giant screen at the station exit. On this screen was the trailer for The Hunger Games. I just wanted to walk to the nearest cinema and see the soonest screening. Except that I'm going to see it with me friends on Friday.
Last year I read the series because my friend wouldn't stop talking about it. She would quote page to us on facebook and leave me feeling clueless. The first part she quoted was;
'"They're sweet as syrup,"he says, taking the last spoonful. "Syrup." His eyes widen as he realizes the truth. I clamp my hand over his mouth and nose hard, forcing him to swallow instead of spit. He tries to make himself vomit the stuff up, but it's too late, he's already losing consciousness. Even as he fades away, I can see in his eyes what I've done is unforgivable."
I honestly thought that the Katniss girl had killed him. Until I asked he and found that he just knocked him out. We were all quite addicted by the time we found that they were making a movie. We all wanted to know who would play Peeta. I have to say that we weren't happy to start off with. The main acters didn't fit the descriptions at all.
Now a year on everyone has changed thier minds and are really keen to see it, or already have...

Day 26:

I am currently sitting in my room wrapped tightly in a blanket because one room of our house is heated by a fire but all the surrounding doors are shut.
courtesy: photobucket.com
Honestly feeling a bit like this...
So while they are warm, anyone in anywhere else if freezing. So, why not turn the ducted heating on? Well, over summer dad converted our ducted heating into a fan that we never used, and it's never been changed back!!!
I'm really considering hunting down a little portable heating and hiding it in my room for moments like this...

Day 25:

When I was little, Santa gave me a pack of cards. Each card had a different Australian location on it. Recently I have decided to make them into a map of Australia. Then I will visit each place in my kombi.

courtesy: dino.co.uk
My only problem is finding a kombi and, once the shell is found, doing it up. What colour is a good kombi colour?
When you type kombi into google, you get two colours; Green
and Blue
I have a little while longer before I really need to worry about those aspects.

Day 24:

The longest thing about writing these blogs is the loading. Once I find a topic to write about I get all I need out fairly fast. I remembered that i had a blog to write about 30 minutes ago and spent that time until now waiting for the page to load.
I can't decide whether it's our area or our connection but our Internet and phone line can be very fussy.
I probably took me 10 minutes to write this...

Day 23:

BOOKS THAT HAVE CHANGED ME:
by Dianne Blacklock
Great Expectations -Charles Dickens
Dickens is and inspiration. The central character, Pip, is infuriating, often arrogant, and flawed like the rest of us. One of the original "aspirationals", Pip dreams that becoming a gentlemen will make him happy and help him win the cold Estella. While the story is rich and complex, the characters drive this novel. Miss Havisham remains one of the most extraordinary creations in literature.

I have also read this book. The first thing that happens is a little boy of about 7 is threatened by a escaped convict. The convict say that he'll get the 'young man' (who we never meet) to come and get him in the night and cut out his liver. A charming way to begin a book that some say is a romance novel.

Reading this book lead me to watching the episodes...
courtesy telegraph.co.uk
Which lead me to searching the characters in it. These two in particular
courtesy listal.com

Guy one has dated Miley Cyrus and guy two well... do the research yourself.
It's weird how reading an old book a can lead to find British Guys. Clearly I was really bored!

Day 22

dis·com·bob·u·late

[dis-kuhm-bob-yuh-leyt] Show IPA
verb (used with object), -lat·ed, -lat·ing.
to confuse or disconcert; upset; frustrate: The speaker was completely discombobulated by the hecklers.
Discombobulation, probably my favourite word. I'm not sure why but it just is. I recently google imaged it to see what came up and was quite surprised at some things. Like this;
courtesy of wordpress.com
But honestly if I just knew where on of these was I'd be fine;
courtesy of signspotting.com
And eveyone needs on of these for that moment when you're REALLY discombobulated;

Day 21:

Do ever get those times when you end up talking to someone online that you haven't spoken with in ages. It can start off really weird and awkward, but sometimes, just sometimes it can be one of the highlights of the day.
You should really start one of these conversations one day. All it takes is an ice breaker and a random topic. If you were friends once, then there must have been something in common the first time.
I'm serious, it could be one of the best thing you ever do (maybe a slight exaggeration...)

Day 20: 10 more to go!!!

Now that I'm getting down to the final 10, I'm wondering if I'll keep up the blogging. Maybe not everyday but every so often.
Recently I had a sleep over with some of my friends. That same day I was watching the sleepover club show on TV and it got me wondering wether there was an age where you were too old for clubs like that, and if a club like that could actually work. Obvously the 'just coming over to your house' moments wouldn't be as fast, seeing we don't all live really close together. Is it possible...???
I'd like it to be...

Saturday, March 17, 2012

Day 19:

Doing a blog every day has run me down. I have nothing left to write and nothing left to rant about. Maybe it's because today has been a good day. Except for waking up stiff (thanks to compusory yoga), today has been fine.
Sorry :(

Friday, March 16, 2012

Day 18: Mindfulness

How is it that a week that consisted of three actual working days feels like one of the longest weeks I've had to live through.
Every week consists of 168 hours, 10080 minutes and 604800 second.
Every week is the same, although some feel as though they take longer...
Maybe it's the mindfulness class we took...
I really don't know how it is meant to work and if it's working on me. I just came out of the session feeling more tired than when I went in.
Try it once, alone, without being forced into it... The results might be different...

Day 17: You never knew how muchyou need it, till it's gone

I lost my USB today, well actually I haven't seen it since Tuesday 3:30 but not until today was I truly concerned for its safety. It looks like this
except with a lid and a little dingily bit, off the back, but the colour close enough.
I have never notice how much I REALLY depend on this little 4GB stick. Yeah I save heaps of stuff on it but so what? Well, that stuff, I may actually want some day... I may actually need to hand it in. I may actually want to view it again... And no, I don't save it two places just in case. That will never happen to me...
After searching everywhere that I can logically think of. I have come to the desiction that the USB monsters stole it.
Dear USB monsters, please will you give me back my USB. I actually really love it and am quite heart broken, not to mention mad that you stole mine right now, when it had the biggest asignment on it. Please could you return it to me RIGHT NOW!!!
If someone has picked up and hasn't put it down again. I WILL BE MAD!!!

Wednesday, March 14, 2012

Day 16:

There is not enough time in one day...
I find that I can never fit everything in and get to bed and wake up at normal times. I really with that there was a way, but there isn't. Well not that I know of...

Tuesday, March 13, 2012

Day 15:

Another person had a birthday today...
courtesy of: ciaatournament.org
March for me is filled with birthdays, none of them mine but all of them close.
At the moment I'm searching for presents for some of them. Why is it that some people are easy to buy for but some can take you forever?
This person is arty and likes alot of different things, they are hard to buy for because they are likely to like whatever you give them. You could give them a pile of newspaper cuttings as long as you put care and though into it.
So what's the problem?
The problem is I want my gift to be awesome, witty and thoughtful all at the same time. I want the gift to be worthwhile. I also want it to be

Saturday, March 10, 2012

Day 12: Packing

I wish I could say that I was almost finished or almost there but I can't... I've got 18 more blogs to post and 18 more day in general...

I'm not very good at packing for things; camp, garage sales, holidays, etc. etc. etc
I get distracted and start doing other things, that are not as important and sooner or later it's time to go and I'm not quite ready...
Like now...

Day 11: People around us...

Ever looked at the people around you?
Are they good? Do they do the right things? Do they make you feel great?
Mine do...
I went on camp for a week but you can't tell because I have great people around me... Who help me achieve things that really I didn't always think I could...
So...

Day 10; Dragons

Recently I went and saw some dragons, it was pretty spectacular and was nothing like I expected...
Here's me thinking that I would stand out being who I am and the age I am, but when I got there I saw everyone. How was I to know that the cool people go out to see dragons as dates, catch-ups and various other things...

Day 9: Poof

Just typing away....click, type, click, type, click, backspace...poof!
Gone...
courtesy bruceblackburn.com
Ever get those moments where everything just disappears and you don't really know what to do. All I find I can do is undo and hope for the best. Sometimes you can get lucky, other, well you're in trouble if the stuff was very important.
It always seems to happen when you're concentrating very, very, very, hard...

POOF!

Tuesday, March 6, 2012

Day 8:

Why do they think that Queen is a band for men?

Really, last time I check I wanted that CD and I not a father or even a guy...

When did all music become boys stuff and girls stuff? Some clearly is meant for one type... like this
I actually think these guys have taste... they drive a Kombi after all

Monday, March 5, 2012

Day 7;

courtesy myfootstepsinchess.com
Clearly I am a morning person, and clearly I have the capability of waking up WAY too early!!!
I really don't like to, but find I must...
I remember the days where I used to wake up at 5 so I could watch all the kids show right up till 9. Looking back that's just sad...

Sunday, March 4, 2012

Day 6;

Clothes -check
Shoes -check
Stuff they tell you to bring but you never use -check
courtesy brandoncontreas.com

Every year they give us a check list of things to bring and every year I think feel that I've forgotten something. It drives me nuts but I don't know a way of avoidong the feeling. The only way to know is to wait and see... or unpack, but that takes too long...

Saturday, March 3, 2012

Day 5: Passwords

I recently decided that I was going to change my passwords seeing that they were all similar.
I never realised how much trouble thinking of passwords can be...
courtesy technobitez.com
You want your passwords to be secure, so they have to have a variety of numbers, capitals and lower case letters. Then the have to be longer than a certain amount of characters just because that's what the website wants. Some websites don't let you use passwords that involved the same word as they once had even if it is with different numbers. So you're in a little bit of trouble trying to remember them all anyway.

Even after all this, the site can't promise that you wont get hacked, so really what was the point to begin with?
courtesy quickcrypto.com

Next time, I just wont bother...

Friday, March 2, 2012

Day 4: What are we?

Almost got caught out today...

A mighty team that has never met each other, with one goal in mind. Surviving a week of camp...
Team colour: Green
Mascot: Unknown
What are we? Green Ninjas
cortesy sweet-headache.net
minus the awesome laser eyes...

This should be good, not sure what is going to happen, but we'll see...

Thursday, March 1, 2012

Day 3;

I wish I knew how to write something that meant something. These words are just words on a screen for filling what I had to do, other people write things that when you read them you actually have nothing you can say. There is nothing you need to say, it gets something out and they always do it well. I have great respect for those people...
